How good is your twitch? (Mesmer/Ranger interrupters)
I was wondering how good the mesmer/ranger players do.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/sleep/sheep/
I got 0.33 seconds and the best I got was 0.28, so yeh, no 1/4 second interrupts for me...
(In 2006 I had 0.22 seconds on this same test.)
I can only seem to get interrupts ingame with 1 second casts, so this probably explains it. I also like WoH and pre-Protting better than Zealous Benediction for this reason.

That's a fun little test, my best time so far is 0.2118, i'm a bobbing bobcat! 1/4 is not easy to interrupt by any means, but it is doable with practice.
Edit: Just got 0.1772, a rocketing rabbit! Only took me 11 tries....

Keep in mind you need to add Guild Wars ping to that number for mesmers.
For rangers you need to add the Guild Wars ping AND flight time of the arrow itself.
Being able to interupt 3/4's on a consistent basis is a feat in itself as the most commonly used elites in GvG on monks are 3/4's.

Average was .2504. I play mesmer, so fortunately, i dont have to deal with the arrow flight time.

combined with my amazing 100-150 ms ping I can intterrupt 3/4th skills all the time. /sarcasm
This only works if you camp people and know they are going to cast that 1 skill you have to rupt. When you have to do other stuff (such as determine whether a skill is important to rupt or not) at the same time you obviously rupt alot less quickly. 1 sec spells should always be twitchable though, unless you're sleeping.
Your skill as an interrupter is not your twitch. It's being able to guess what somebody will use next and when he will cast it, approximately. And for rangers also positioning, since flight time adds ALOT.
EDIT: Seeing as alot of people are getting the same numbers, I doubt this thing is very accurate.

.21 average.
But most skill I've seen from ints are determining which are the important skills to actually interrupt, and which aren't, which takes a little longer to think about.

According to this, I can interrupt shouts 1/5th of the time.
Got excited about number three, jumped the gun on four.

Averages are running between 0.19 and 0.21; best is 0.119.
(And then layer on top of that a GW ping that's usually around 250 and I have to be at my very best to hit a 1/2cast unless I'm predicting.)
Plus I usually save interrupts for important skills, which means I spend even more time reading them.
I don't really care for the design of this test. Extra plants and sheep block visibility on the bottom two rows, which is going to skew the accuracy unless everyone gets on equal number of sheep in the bottom two rows -- which you don't; and it would create another accuracy problem by allowing you to predict where to look for the next sheep.

a .0000 is simply jumping the gun the instant the thing's going to send one out....I got one of those myself, but i get 3sec penalties just about every time.
Best average was .24xx.
